Launched in April 2007, The Tabor Boy Project is a living history project and social network for people’s whose lives were changed by sailing on sailing school vessel Tabor Boy over her more than five decades in service of the students of Tabor Academy in Marion, MA, USA. The Tabor Boy Project is built on the Ning platform with some customization. The network has approximately 140 members with steady activity. Nearly 700 photos have been posted ranging from the 1950’s to current many of which were in shoeboxes on closet shelves in alumni homes. The Tabor Boy Project is capturing the rich history of an amazing ship and connecting long lost classmates in the process.
